Looking to sale and distribute new energy drink brand.

Answers:
Sam's Club or BJ's is the best deal you will get without a license.
AND Cosco, thanks DeDe.
You will require a VENDOR'S LICENSE to publically sell/market products.
Or.you could actually check with the manufacturer themselves...and see if you could become an Independent Distributor.

Other Answers:
I agree with Peach...Sam's Club, (never heard of BJ's) or Costco.
Are you talking about Red Bull and Jagermeister by any chance?
Depends on your location and the product you want to distribute.

If you are considering any of the National brands (ie. Monster or Red Bull) chances are you will not be able to distribute them, at least not with approval from them.

Generally anyone that buys products from a 'trade retailer' (ie. Sams Club, Super/Walmart or Costco etc.) then resells them to other businesses (ie. small retailers or other businesses like office buildings etc.) is considered a 'jobber' and is not usually recognized by the manufacturer. Which means no marketing or sales support from them that traditional 'trade distributors' get.

So if this is what you are planning on doing be prepared to go at it alone. I know of a few people that do this and they are able to make a decent living filling the holes that the traditional distributors miss or are unable to fill. Basically these types are usually by themselves (no employee's) and one cargo van. They do all of the sales, marketing and delivery by themselves.

Good Luck.

p.s. I know that in Chicago, IL you need a state business license and a city license. Check with your local chamber of commerce they will be able to help get you going in the right direction.
