Kitty said: Yes.How do you rate Georgian Wine?-I try seach this on internet but no results found.Maybe this is a stupid question.
Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(How do you rate Georgian Wine?),it will help you,my kids.
p.s. Georgia is a country name, not the peach state.
Answers:
We don't see many Georgian wines, but assuming the ones that are exported are some of the best then I would rate them only average to good. They seem rather unpolished and rustic.
I think to compete succesfully in the world market they need to modernise their winemaking.
They have some interesting grape varities -- Saperavi and Matrasa are two dry reds that I have enjoyed. I haven't had a Rkatsitelli from Georgia but Dr Frank Winery in Finger Lakes, New York state has shown this Georgian variety makes an excellent wine that sells quickly at a premium price.
So Georgia has the grapes and the capability, but its a competitive world market and they need to concentrate on clean winemaking, some decent labelling (all the ones I have seen have been poor) and an understanding of the market.
Other Answers:
I rate it buy its smell, density, and taste.
