Why not decant the wine into a pretty crystal decanter that you can refill as needed during dinner rather than having the box left out? If it is for a party, the decanter(s) can be left on a tray with glasses. I like the idea of a silver box cover but a decanter seems a little more classy.

If you're rolling with boxed wine, you're rolling dirty. I almost feel it's sacrilegious to try to beautify something so low that it has already made itself beautiful. Just drink it fast and enjoy the horrors about to befall you. And remember, when it's all said and done, you can inflate the bag with your wine-breath and use it as a pillow for when you pass out on the kitchen floor.
Secretly, I love boxed wine and am quite nostalgic for my past experiences with it.
