I have never been a big drinker, and I haven't enjoyed the few beers that I have tried. For some reason, I do like Zima - but I would like to expand my taste buds. Any suggestions for a beer that I might enjoy? Thanks.

Zima is considered a malt alternative beverage, and there are several others in this category. Any of your jack daniels lemonades or punches, smirnoff ice, skyy twists, etc...Look on the label for the term malt alternative and you'll be in the range. Beer, however, contains hops as well as malt, which imparts the bitterness you probably don't like. There are fruity varieties of beer, like a raspberry weizen, which is a raspberry flavored wheat beer ( I think Widmer's makes one) look around the better quality beers, and maybe even the imported ones. There is a style of beer called a lambic. It's from Belgium, and the best brand is called Lindeman's. It comes in several flavors, is pretty expensive, but I swear, it'll be the best drink you've ever tried. Good luck!

Probably no beer has a very different taste but maybe Smirnoff? Or may just maybe Dos Equis.

I would suggest Smirnoff Ice with the black label. The taste is close as your gonna get to Zima try blackbeer

zima doesnt contain that much alchohal. sooo i think you should try mgd lite or budweiser lite.. get use to it first then you can start with regular beer.. then you shouuld be able to drink anythink you want.. also try JAGERMIEFTER WITH REDBULL.. its the BEST!!!

im not gonna lie...youre gonna end up hating zima and realizing its gross...

if you dont like beer try smirnoff, its pretty good, but if you do want to drink beer its not something youre going to just "like" its more of an aquired taste, like wine is...i would try a more expensive beer first, like dos equis (XX) with some lime and salt, or a carona the same way...mexicans are really good at making beer. or you could try something like buswieser select or even bud light, those are both preatty good, and miller high life isnt too bad...youre probably not going to like anything cheap like natty or keystone...its something we all just kinda drink in college because we have no money! but like i said, youre not just going to "like" beer, its an aquired taste and if its something you dont want to aquire just drink wine, smirnoff, a wine cooler, or even just a mixed drink like a daqueri...ENJOY!

Zima is terrible. If you like it, go for a light beer, such as Coors. Another possibility, although seldom seen today would be Pink Champale. Oh man you like Zima? My boyfriend and I argued over who had to finish it...
