What a bunch of hoopla over nothing. It was the same as the scene from Lady and the Tramp when the two dogs were eating spaghetti. This was just two guys, dumb ones, who were eating a candy bar. Nothing sexual about it. Just stupidity.
I would never buy a product that rhymes with knickers on principle

The ad was tacky, cheesy and a dramatic way to get consumer's attention. But I love Snickers anyway. I would still buy the candy bar.
Actually I would buy snickers after that commercial. They are really tasty still! Also, even though the guys did kiss and then automatically try to cove it up, I think it may show a change in the attitude of this country towards homosexuality. 20 years ago, I'm not sure that commercial could have even aired...two guys kissing would have been totally unacceptable, instead of just humorous. It was a light-hearted commercial, and I think that attitudes have become more accepting of the gay community in this country, and this commercial exemplifies this. There was not an outrage about two guys kissing on national tv when this commercial aired...and I think there may have been not too long ago.
