Answer:
A funny, but true story about getting drunk on apple "juice".
When I was about 12, my father and I visited a cider mill in NY state. He bought 4 gallons and stuck them in the back of the station wagon. We drove home to Florida. When we got home, he put one in the fridge.
A few days later, after working in the yard, I poured a HUGE glass and downed it. Then I poured another and drank about half of it. By the time I took a glass out to him, I had a serious case of the giggles -- and a pretty serious drunk! But I had no idea, it was my first alcohol!
Of course, the sun beating through the back window onto the cider bottles had sped up the natural fermentation process!
The moral of the story -- yep, you can get drunk off of apple juice when it has become "hard".
Natural apple juice become "hard" with alcohol about a day after it is pressed. It gets "harder" with more and more alcohol for a few days and about the 4th day it turns to vinegar.
So, yes you can get tipsy on apple juice that is naturally pressed but not on the bottled Mott's stuff.
does it taste slightly fizzy or sour? It may have fermented, and developed a low alcohol content. That sometimes happens if its old, or has been left in a warm environment.
maybe a litttle crazy, if you said grape juice!! I may believe you
suger lol
Apple juice has apple juice in it. If it's the bottled kind and not old it should be fine.
Yes, your apple juice may have fermented. You also my have an allergy to certain types of apples. Most commercial apple juice is made from what ever kind of apples the manufacturer can get. Test your reaction to different types of apples, like Gala, Cameo, the Deliciouses (red and green), etc. If you don't have similar reactions, by smaller bottles.
I used to get the same way when I drunk Sprite at midnight.
Its just our bodies react weird sometimes.
