Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(St.Pattys Day is tomorow and I need to know if..?),it will help you,my kids.

you put green or blue food coloring in beer to make it green.
I've heard people say green, and otheres say blue. Whats really gunna work?
thanks :]

Answer:
from experience use green!
blue cause beer is kinda yellow
Ide put green anyway and a little blue. blue and yellow mixes but green would make it more like the right color.
blue
red
Just experiment around a little to find the colour you want.
Sorry...can't help you with that. (I know...I know, but I was already here.)
put lots and lots of green in so you know it will be green
Blue -------blue plus yellow make green. Beer is golden yellow in colour, therefore I think you should add blue. Just a little drop at a time.
i say test it on a glass and enjoy while you test!! i also think it depends on what beer u plan on using ex: ale or regular
