Good tequila such as Casa Noble or Tesoro are served at room temperature, you can use many different glasses to serve tequila a popular one right now is the small snifter used for Brandy but the official glass where tequila should be served is made by Riedel and looks a bit like a champaign flute.

Some people will like a chaser with tequila such as water or even squirt, the traditional chaser is the sangrita. There is also a popular way to serve it in Mexico which is the bandera, one shot glass of tequila silver, one of lime and one of sangrita.

If you have any desire to drink cheap tequila I do recommend you chill it, this will tone down all the aromas and hide those which are unpleasant.

I believe that Tequila should be at room temperature if you
are going to pour shooters because you can really taste it,
but if ya going to mix it I chuck it in the freezer...

At room Temp:Tequila shots with Lime,Salt
*Wipe the rim of the shot glass with a wedge of lime
and dip in salt, Pour Tequila very carefully into the
glass so you don't touch the salt on the rim...
When shooting, turn the shot glass on your lips to get the
lime and salt..

If Cold: Tequila Slammers
*Put 2 shots of tequila in a small glass,squeeze some
lemon juice in and stir... Just before drinking top up glass
with sparkling wine,cover glass with ya hand and SLAM IT
