The only problem was that a lot of retirees and old people took the voucher, got themselves a free meal, pocketed the coins and went back to NYC. And didn't gamble. So they discontinued it.
It is a lot harder to get anything free in Atlantic City. If you are betting high at the blackjack table or roulette wheel, they might shoot you a free drink now and then. If you bet really high, maybe a free meal.
But you wont get anything free just by walking into a casino. Before the casino makes any kind of investment in you, it wants to have a pretty good assurance it will make some money off you!
So the short answer to your question is Nothing.

Atlantic City is CRUD! You exit the casino n walk on the boardwalk at night, all you see is drug addicts and kids who's parents are in the casinos. It's so obvious...they bought cheap land, land where poor ppl live..and built casinos. Because who builds casinos on broadway right? that costs wayyy too much, building it in the ghetto is much more cheaper.
To answer your question. What's free? nothing.
If you got the skills you can drink for free... eat for free... get gas for free... but watch out cuz you could a ride in a cop car for free too...
