Hi All, this may seem like a boring question, but for a friends 21st, im getting a wine bottle and peeling off the label and making my own label with my friend on it. Only thing is im not sure what kind of laqeuer or sealent should i use to keep the label from running when the bottle of wine is put in the fridge to cool.
Any help would be much appreciated.

If the friend is that important to you then take the image to the nearest Kinko's or other printer and have them print it with a color LASER printer, NOT AN INKJET. The colors won't run when they get wet. You could also pay a little more and go to a local sign company and have them print it on some thin vinly. Both ways will get you a sharp vivid print that will not bleed or run.

how about some covert run.
rubber cement or and all purpose glue should be fine too. u really dont have to worry unless its going in a cooler with ice
Im not sure but you could try clear finger nail polish. Since it's clear, you will still be able to see the words, and once its dry it should protect the label. Plus its inexpensive. Good Luck.
Oh yeah put the nail polish on it and let it dry before you put the label on the bottle.
Try clear packing tape.
Laminate the label first.
use "gorrilla glue" it hold anything!!!!
