I agree with the 1st answer, i would add that Amarone is made by a unique process where they dry the grapes in the sun on straw mats(a process called 'appasimento') to concentrate the sugars and flavors before fermenting.
amarone has 3 types of grapes;
Corvina - supplies body, color, and delicate, enticing perfume
Rondinella - provides tannin and a floral note to the bouquet
Molinara - contributes acidity and distinctly aromatics
