Well everyone has their favorite recipe but it is basically 1 1/2 cup Brandy, 1 oz dark Creme de Cacao, 1 oz half-and-half or heavy cream, and 1/4 tsp grated Nutmeg. Combine hte first three ingredients in a shaker half filled with ice and strain, garnish with the nutmeg. Some alternative recipes use vanilla ice cream.
2 ounces brandy
1/2 ounce dark crème de cacao
1/2 ounce heavy cream
Whole nutmeg Pour brandy, crème de cacao, and heavy cream into a mixing glass with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a 6-ounce cocktail glass and grate nutmeg over top, to taste.
Serves 1.
