I think it depends on what state you live in but they are totaly different flavors of rum. Around here a 750ml of capt morgan goes for around $20 and parrot bay goes for around $15. The alcohol content is different between the two. Parrot bay tends to be for the type of drinker that likes sweet and smooth and capt morgan is harder to handle strait. But w/ soda capt morg is the way to go.
Parrot Bay is coconut flavored and not quite as strong. In Alaska, it goes for about $24 a fifth. Capt. Morgan's spiced rum is stronger and still easy to drink and goes for about $22.
Morgan's for sure...stronger and still goes down smooth.

well, abc stores differ by state so prices vary. They are also priced by amount. a handle(1.75 liters) of captain morgan runs around 25 bucks. Parrot bay is owned by captain morgan, and its flavored. The choice really depends on why your drinking. If you are looking to get drunk parrot bay isnt a great chocie because the alchohol content is extremely low, where as captain morgan spiced rum is around 80 proof. i think parrot bay is like 40 something, probably less.
