It is played on a ping pong table.
10-15 cups of beer are arranged at one end of the PP Table in any fashion.
A player takes the PP Ball and hits it with the paddle to the other end of the table, and whichever cup it lands in, they have to drink.

Just like ping pong only you place a glass on each side of the table. Whenever the ball lands in the glass as your playing you have to chug the the glass or just take a drink, whatever you decide on prior to starting.
You should watch Beerfest the movie as it's one of the competitions on there. Oh and its funny as hell.
you put a beer at each of the corners of a pp table and if you make a point you drink if the pp ball lands in the beer you drink and if you loose you drink but if you win you drink a 5-gallon keg of beer

You take some cups fill them with beer and place them on each end of the ping pong table. We always have 10 cups per side in the shape of a pyramid. You have to bounce the ball into the other sides cup( some people use the paddles and try to hit it in the cup) once you make it in the cup that person has to chug the beer. You do this until all cups are gone from one side. The loser then has to drink the remaining cups on your side as well
There are so many different versions of how to play, it depends where you are so I will give you the basic ways!! You have a table and on each end you set up a rack or ten cups(also played with six cups) the cups are set up like a triangle. 4 in the back three in front of that then two then one, and fill them half up with beer. You have two teams on each side so all together 4 people. You can volley to see who goes first. Team one starts and u cant past the line of the table and shoot your ball trying to make it in a cup if you do that team drinks it , and if you bounce it in a cup and make it that team drinks 2 cups, but they can only swat ur bounces not your throws. Whoever team has no cups left loses.
it is so fun and a fast way to get drunk, you can make tournaments and have Beer Pong Champs
The best game ever :) For 2 players or teams.
1. Get a large rectangular table. Or ping pong table. or 4'x8' piece of plywood.
2. Set up 10 (or 6) of those big red 16oz plastic cups at each end like bowling pins, in a pyramid with the tip facing the middle of the table.
3. Fill each group of cups with 2-3 beers.
4. Teams throw 2 ping pong balls into the cups on the other side. You can either bounce it once or just throw it in, but nor more than one bounce.
5. If they get a ball in the other team has to drink the beer in that cup and the cup is removed from play. If both balls are thrown into the same cup that team wins and the other team has to drink all the bee ron the table.
6. As cups are removed you can rearrange them into a diamond, etc.
7. You win when all the cups on the other side are gone. The other team has to then finish the beer on your side.
