2-1/2 cups water or apple juice
2 pkg. (8-serving size) JELL-O Brand Gelatin Dessert, any flavor*
*Or 4 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Gelatin Dessert can be substituted for 2 pkg. (8-serving size).
Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 3 minutes until completely dissolved. Pour into 13x9-inch pan.
Refrigerate at least 3 hours or until firm (does not stick to finger when touched). Dip bottom of pan in warm water about 15 seconds. Cut into decorative shapes with cookie cutters all the way through gelatin or cut into 1-inch squares. Lift from pan.

Read the package! Jello is not rocket science.
follow the directions on the jello box or at jello.com. i think you add a bit less water to make it firmer and then you can cut them into cute bite size shapes. good luck, food is always better if you can play with it.. = D The recipe is right on the box. You just use about half the amount of water you would for normal Jello.
