The best way to keep fresh herbs is to put them into a Ziploc bag, them blow into it and them tightly close it with the air still in there from your breath. For some reason their is something in your breath that will make them last longer

try washing then rapping in paper towels, place in ziplock back
try wrapping them in damp paper towels in as few layers as possible in a plastic container to extend the shelf life. I have found that freezing it in ziploc bags preserves the flavor the best. Rinse the leaves and pat completely dry with a paper towel. Leave a bit of stem on the leaf and make certain that you get as much of the air out, as possible, before freezing. They keep for quite a long time.
Wash them, pat them dry with a paper towel and then roll them up in another paper towel and put them in a plastic bag in the back of the bottom shelf of your fridge.
.Keep them out in the kitchen. If the don't have the roots still cut bottoms of stems, leave roots if the plant still has them.Leave in a glass with a little water in the bottom. This will get you a few more days out of the herbs. But, my main recommendation is to use them up while still fresh then buy more the next time you plan to use these herbs. Store in cloth wrapping-certain stores Publix or Kitchen supply stores st malls sell drawstring cloth bags that one can store parsley,greens,herbs in longer than any other storage means. If I don't use the herbs and know they'll soon go bad even in cloth bags will take out of fridge and store in open container in my pantry to dry them. You can buy some cheap cotton pieces the size of a large tea towel and if you don't sow can staple together to make a bag-don't have to have drawstring just fold top over and pin closed with clothespin or the pins made to clip sandwich bags closed.
You could try the above, but even better, try to get herbs in a pot... They can last for 1 - 2 weeks and all you need to do is water them a bit.
