Either plain or french style cheesecake.
Answers:
ICE WINE
Canada is the largest ice wine producer in the world with 40 to 50 vintners in Ontario and British Columbia producing the liquid gold. With hints of lychee, mango, peach, passion fruit and honey, ice wine is best served with fruit, foie gras, cheesecake...
Ice Wine pairs beautifully with fine appetizers like paté de foie gras and a wide array of desserts -- fruit and nut tarts, cheesecake, ice cream, fresh fruit, crème caramel and chocolate mousse are just a few examples.

A nice Inniskillin Ice Wine from canada
I don't like dessert wine at all, I say stick with something you like, it dgoes with everything.
depends on ur taste, most dessert wines are some what sweet, but what it really amounts to is whatever u like and enjoy will be fine doesn't matter if it's red or white, but most white wines are sweet due to the removal of the skins before fermentation..Whatever floats ur taste buds
Try port wines...Smith Woodhouse makes some great ports.
If I may make a suggestion---I am from Germany where wine is served a lot with food, my mother is from France(where they have more red wine). As a general rule of thumb: red wine is heavier and often sweeter than white wine. If you have to have a wine with the cheesecake I would suggest a light pink wine from the Rhone Delta. That wine is light in texture, not too sweet, and not as heavy as a regular wine and therefore would go better with the cheesecake, but if I can make the suggestion: serve a light wine with the dinner and leave it up to the guest if they want to consume wine with their dessert. If I was a guest I would not drink a wine with it. Neither in Germany, nor in France(where we went a lot)have I seen wine with dessert. It is always served with food, in fact, it is considered part of the food over there.
In Australia we have a Brown Brothers Cruchen and Reisling which is great with desserts even a Marsala is good.
Go with a nice sauterne - which is a french sweet white bordeaux. A little expensive, but definitley the premier dessert wine in the world
Chateau d'Yquem
unfortunately, no dessert wine will match properly with cheesecake as together, there will be too much sugar.
A better match would be a Spumante (Riccadonna or Cora will do nicely).
