Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(What kinds of good and relatively cheap alcohol for a party?),it will help you,my kids.
I'm having a party in about a month and need help on what kind of alcoholic beverages to serve my guests. I don't like beer so that is out, and I don't have a blender so I can't make margaritas. What are some relatively cheap (but decent tasting!) alcohol brands? I don't want to spend a ton of money on the alcohol. Please tell me a few, and then I'll put them out at the party with mixers like Coke and juice and stuff so people can make what they want. thanks for your help.
Answer:
I say buy some staples:vodka, rum, gin, whiskey, tequila, and maybe some sweeter liqueurs such as amaretto, butter shots, baileys etc. You can sometimes buy the store brands for them, they might not be smooth but as a mixer they will be fine! Then tell everyone BYOB, bring your own booze. Just because you are hosting the party doesn't mean you should have to purchase everything. Have Fun and be safe!
i like jose cuervo with orange soda... tastes like a 50/50 orange popsicle.
tequila
raspberry vodka and fruitpunch gatorade mixed tastes like a wildberry fruit drink
watermelon rum is good with a lot of stuff, suprisingly with pepsi
lime vodka mixed with lime seltzer is amazing, and altoguh i never tried it, its prob good with sprite too.
vodka and pretty much any kind of fruit juice is always good, plus vodka is cheap
bacardi O and orange juice
MY FAVORITE
BLUE RASPBERRY VODKA MIZED WITH BLUE GATORADE------ AMAZING
Pick up some cheap vodka and rum, get them as cold as you can (Martha Stewart freezes them in ice) and then have mixers like soda and juice available
When going cheap and general, always go this route. Gin, Rum, Vodka, whiskey. You can buy varying sytles of either. Segrams makes a good gin, aristocrat a vodka, jim beam and wiskey, and captian morgan a rum. I woulkd include a few beers for folks that don't enjoy liquor, remember it doesnt matter if yo ulike them or not.
U. V. flavored (I believe its vodka) has a couple flavors; Blue raspberry and cherry are a couple of the most popular flavored versions..they are inexpensive and can be mixed with everything from lemonade to juice to soda(think cherry-coke?)
and you may want out put out just a plain Vodka..Smirnoff is sort of middle of the road price wise but is still good quality and if people don't like fruity things plain vodka goes with anything. The really in-expensive vodkas are just plain bad tasting..you will be glad you spent the couple extra dollars there.
"When life gives you lemons find someone who gives them vodka and throw a party!"
(Spiked limonade)
vodka, gin, scotch whiskey. All are good, and the less expensive are about $10-$15. Your local shop can recommend the brands, for vodka is skyy, the whiskey is Canadian Club or 7 and 7, gin is Gilbeys. Juice goes with vodka, tonic with gin, anything with whiskey. Have a good time.
It depends on how much money you want to spend.
For wine, I would recommend going to trader joe's if you have one in your town. They sell what used to be called "FRANZIA" wines, that came in big jugs and bags....I can't remember the name now, but their wine sells for about $3 a bottle, and it is very very good.
For tequila, I can recommend a $20 bottle of tequila....El Jimador. It is the best for the price. If you need to go cheaper, go with Sauza Hornitos, but that's a big jump down in quality.
I believe you can get a "box" of margarita mix...you just add the tequila and freeze, then dispense it through a spout. This is good if you don't have a blender.
Margaritas are better on the rocks anyway.
5 o' clock VODKA
Gin is fairly cheap and very versatile. Then Vodka is also cheap. You can check prices on Rum.Hope this helps.
*buy Vanilla flavored vodka so your guest or you can mixed it with coke and serve over ice.
* make sangria:
?1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz) it could be any cheap white or red wine
?1 Lemon cut into wedges
?1 Orange cut into wedges
?2 Tbsp sugar
?1 Shot brandy
?2 Cups ginger ale or club soda
Pour wine in the pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon and orange into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and add sugar and brandy. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale or club soda just before serving. If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice.
* sparkling wine such as Saint- Hilare which is under $10 is a good combination; you can get the brut which is dry and the semi-sweet for $20. the two bottles would serve 12-14 people. it depends also how your friends drink. if you think they each would have more than one drink buy two bottles (750ml).
* you can also serve Vodka with either cranbery, orange juice, or pamagrante liquor.
