Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(What us the shelf life of vermouth?),it will help you,my kids.
I found an old (not sure how old, probably 6 months+) bottle of vermouth, but was kept at room teperature.
How about some martinis? Not gonna make my insides liquify, will it?
Answer:
I wouldn't think alcohol goes bad.. It might lose flavor or something but I'm not sure bacteria could grown in those conditions.
Every bar i ever worked at it lasted forever...since we hardly use sweet and dry vermouth, except for a rare manhatten or vodka martini <---we mostly serve hard liquor and beer, We would have it sitting there with the pour spout in it and i never got a complaint on it in 11 yrs. It sits at room temp and I guess it just doesnt go bad.
All booze is self-preserving, meaning that it will keep indefinitely. As a matter of fact, it will only get better with age. Just make sure you keep the cap on tight and in a cool dark place.
It is shelf stable and can be stored without refrigeration for up to a year
