Which birthday*? (Second update :) -- The Queen most recent birthday was her 80th birthday in 2006. There were many events, lunches and dinners in honour of it that she attended.
I've found the menus for three of them so far and at two Riesling was served. At a Birthday lunch two dayson 19 April 2006 at Buckingham Palace for 99 people sharing the Queen's 80th birthday the white wine was Riesling Cuvée St. Catherine 1999 - the full menu was
