I'd take a kick in the stomach to a punch in the nose anyday.

Well, since this category is beer, wine and spirits, I have to ask: What goes into a "punch in the nose" and what goes into a "kick in the stomach"? I assume they are alcoholic beverages.
After a punch in the nose, you'll still be on your feet and can still (blindly) punch back.
A punch or a kick to the upper stomach (solar plexus) that winds you will put you on the floor. Not good.
