Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Whats the best Vodka brand?),it will help you,my kids.
I had this new vodka at a bar. I can't remember the name but the bartender gave me a small shot and it was sooo smooth and had a very light aftertaste. What is your fav???
Answer:
Grey Goose= No Hangover
Grey Goose
Personally I don't know - we all have our own preferences. But hey, after a few shots, you wouldn't care. They all will taste just as good as each other.
Was it XO?
I buy more Grey Goose than anything else
Vodka is a "grain" spirit... potato booze or corn booze or the like... have a few "shots" you wont care...
I like grey goose, it comes in a clear bottle with a blue top and there's pictures of geese on the bottle. Skyy is also a nice vodka, navy bottle with Skyy written on it. I've really gotten into Absolut vodka recently as they have some lovely flavours and Xellent Swiss vodka is wonderful as well, if you don't mind paying for it.
There's a whole list of vodkas on wikipedia if you're interested in drinking better than just the house vodka when you're out.
Belvedere! delicioussss
Grey Goose or Absolut
grey goose hands down
Grey Goose yum Bloody Mary!
Smirnoff Vodka Strawberry is yum!
Grey Goose and Ketel One are very good.
To each is own. If you want great alternatives to the standard Grey Goose, you might want to try Russian Standard. Oliphant vodka is also great; it's actually a clone of Kettle One. Luksusowa is an inexpensive potato vodka that can stand up against Chopin.
As for luxury vodka in the same price range as Goose, try Effen, especially the black cherry.
Kettle One! 4 sure!!
Grey Goose is quite popular, but the reason it's considered so smooth is that they add extra molasses (sugar) to make it smooth...on the other hand, just last year (or maybe 2005), Pravda Vodka (a Polish brand), beat out all the competition as the best tasting vodka. I have tried it at work (Liquor Store) and must admit, it's incredibly smooth and they don't add extra molasses.
Also, it runs the same price as Grey Goose, so next time you are about to pick up a thing of Grey Goose, try the Pravda and see how you like it.
Other decent one's are; Kettle One and Belvedere.
42 Below a 'new' vodka from New Zeland is most interesting and won just about every awards. In vodka the water is important and NZ is meant to have the best one... They also have some flavoured one with native plants and honey (dry)...
I have been drinking vodka for sometime now and different pal lots will tell different things but my all time great is Chopin. It is a Polish potato vodka that is as smooth as water and you can find it in almost every liquor store. It is pronounced (show-pan) Enjoy!!!!
Absolut ,or its super premium brand Level
Grey Goose but I also have had 3 Olive Vodka from England is a very close second
Good question! I was wondering the same thing for my 21st b-day a few weeks ago. I've had Absolut, Grey Goose, and V5. They're all good.
Kettle One
