With the above ingredients and a decent amount of Grey Goose so that you dont need to drink like 37 of them to get drunk.
1 1/2 oz. Midori, Sweet and sour mix, shake over ice, strain and drink.
Frozen.
It's a girlie drink if you ask me. Since it's pretty low alcohol, I'd recommend putting the ingrediants in a blender and making FROZEN MIDORI SOURS! The ingrediants being the simple ones the guy before me wrote.
Fill short glass with ice
pour 1.5 oz. Midori
Fill rest of glass with Sweet and Sour
garnish with cherry and orange (the traditional garnish of Orleans style sours)
Drink!
Note: I prefer not to shake the drink because I like the layered effect.
One part Midori and two parts sour. Shake it well. That's the proper way.
There's a few small things that can make a real difference. Most important, do not use a melon substitute. Only Midori, and one other thing is crushed ice. Equal splash of sour , 7up, OJ and PJ. Also, if your on a mission, you can easily add a good vodka and it won't change the taste. It depends on where you live, whether or not a Midori Sour already has vodka. About 17 years ago, I started tending bar at TGIF , and that was my favorite drink. (UM. I mean to serve somebody. Of course, not for myself.) Since then I've worked the biggest clubs and never had one complaint.!
Quick Tip: If you have the time to prepare, a fun trick and people love it is to take a package of watermelon Jolly Ranchers, add them to a bottle of Absolut and put it in the freezer over night. Viola' Watermelon Vodka--Taste great added to a Midori
