In the jello shots--vodka. To serve with them, something fruity like Appeltini's, you can use the vodka from the jello shots with Apple Pucker, shake with ice in a martini shaker, strain and serve in a martini glass.
Buy some 100% Grain Neutral Spirits. It's 100% alcohol. It is great in Jello shooters.
Probably something tropical with rum in it to compliment the jello shots. Don't forget the whipped cream!
For a twist on the jello shots, use Malibu rum (coconut flavored) in the jello - then you can serve pina coladas or Rum & Cokes to go with them.
