Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(Which country produces the best red wine?),it will help you,my kids.
Chilean, African…etc? What do you think is the best for taste?
Answer:
I am a red wine drinker.
I've tasted wines from Spain, Italy, France, Chile, South Africa, and Australia. (not in order of preference)
I personally prefer my red wine to have a strong, peppery, and rich taste and aftertaste. Italian and Australian wines are my favourites so far.
The other countries are like either too bland or too disgusting. Too disgusting refers to the type of taste, I just can't find any food or fruit to match the taste that I've got from those wines.
Basically, if you want to drink the best wines, the price of a wine will determine what you'd get. No doubt about it. That's one of the sure ways to make sure that you've got something good under a new brand that you'd want to try out, as rated by the merchants.
Next, is to look at the year. Most of the times, older wines are definitely much much better than younger wines in term of tastes and power. I personally like red wines which are at least 4 years old, and which come from either italy or australia. If its from Australia, go for wines only from South Australia - they're the best when it comes to wine competitions over here in Australia.
Lastly, always smoke a menthol cigarette after half a bottle for maximum enjoyment and pleasure. And always remember to drink alot of water to replenish your body after drinking.
Well I love Australian red wine for consistent quality. You always know what you will be getting when you open a bottle of Shiraz etc - full bodied, fruity, well rounded taste etc. However, snobby wine critics claim that Australian reds are too preictable - just cos you don't get a bad one!
I also enjoy Chilean red wines - again full bodied and delicious, like a Merlot, and some of the California ones are lovely too.
French wines are, for me, just too unpredicatable. You can pay a huge price for a bottle, only to find it is weak and watery!
However, Spanish and Italian wines are usually good value - a Chainti always goes down well - and has the backing of Hannibal Lector too!
I think it's not Chilean and not African...
For me, the best wine is Georgian, because of its colour, taste and... JUST TRY IT and you'll understand)
I think Australia, because they do Jacob's Creek and I love that
That would be Bordeaux in France.
France, is the best. Italy a very close second.
Chile or Australia are the best value for money. (At least here in Canada since French wines tend to be expensive here)
There is no such thing as the 'best' wine. There are table wines and quality wines. Even the top experts would find it difficult to answer your question. I have tried a few Californian, Australian, German wines. I drink plenty of Turkish, French, Italian, and Cyprus wines. My favourites are local Cyprus red wines, especially the ones produced by small family businesses.
American wines in California and Washington.
Most of my favorite reds come from California. That being said, I think as a country, Italy produces the best red wine.
for me its France, they are the only countries having regulations about what you can put in wine, most wines not from France contain juices from others fruits then grape to make the wine taste a bit sweeter.
This is like asking "What country makes the best cars," - it's all subjective.
Chile makes some great value wine, but those prices are increasing. They also make some good higer end wine (Don Melchor) and are finally starting to take pride in it.
Australia is known for making some of the best Shirazes in the world. And they are usually affordable.
California makes some of the best Cab and Cab blends. They are attainable and basically affordable to those of us in the US.
Italy makes some of the best "big" wines. I can't imagine having to drink wine without ever having a Barolo or a good Chianti.
France, is of course, France. Even a basic 'regional' Burgundy is good. The biggest obstacle with French wines is the price of them here in the US.
Oregon & Washington make some of the best Pinot Noir in the world! The accessibility of it for Americans opens the doors to a whole 'new' kind of wine.
France, hands down - end of story.
i prefer Italian and Spanish(rioja) red wines and German and Australian white
