Even at a party with free drink I still prefer soft drink. Fun to stay sober and watch others get drunk and make a fool of themselves

Answers:
i'm only 20 and i find it more fun to watch others get drunk. i don't like feeling to out of countrol or sick, and as alcholo does both,i don't enjoy it! its great that you can enjoy a night out without having to get drunk! keep it up!

Other Answers:
it's just like weed, you grow out of it

because you are getting older and wiser because your liver is not able to metabolize the liquor plus you do not have the aquired taste for it probably. As you get older your taste buds change

because you are more sure of who you are, and don't have to worry about "fitting in"

You grew up and became more mature

Because you are becoming more stupid Change in taste buds

Because as you mature, you learn that the pleasure isn't always worth the pain.

Because you are learning that it's bad for you...

and about time big man!

good question.i like smoking grass and drinking alcohol, but as i approach 30, i like smoking more.i guess i'm not 21 anymore and don't really need that horrible hangover the next day.. Its actually boring...and its killing your liver.

Because you lose sudden taste buds for it or interest

same here and im only 19, ive been drinking far too long...

I don't even want to be around it at all anymore. You grow out of it as you mature, I suppose. Its not hype anymore. Its getting boring

This is a well documented pattern...even a large percentage of people with "drinking problems" just sort of lose interest in boozing it up in their 30's and 40's. It's probably due to physiological changes mainly.the alcoholic effect just eventually loses a great deal of its "magic".

because you get used to it and as the years pass it becomes boring

Your taste buds are old and dusty! Only sugar can penetrate through all that rust. YOU JUST GET WISER AS YOU GET OLDER

Speak for yourself, I enjoy it more, (I'm sure I am older than you) and I cant see any fun in watching others getting drunk, it's about the worse thing that can happen walking into a pub sober and every one else is fully 'in the swing' of things, I am a believer in sober people not being allowed to hang around in pubs. If they are not drunk within an hour they should be frog marched out!!
Hope this helps? tolerance .you cant drink like you could in the past
