yes you do get drunk faster.. but only because with the straw you finish your drinks faster...especially if it a mixed drink.cause you cant really chug a mixed drink without spilling it because of the ice in it.and also the straw sucks the liquid from the bottom of the glass... and mixed drinks have the alcohol at the bottom of the glass (unless its really stirred) cause everyone knows to pour the liq in first. I'm a guy and hate drinking with a straw but got tired of spilling the liq and with a straw it just like zoooooom and it gone. . NEVER DRINK BEER WITH A STRAW...that is unacceptable !
