Here are some friends with simlar question as we.And I have this question for many days,anyone help us?

What is the best wine you would suggest and why? Please descibe the taste;bitter, fruity, etc.

Answers:
It really depends on what I'm eating! For example, if I'm having chicken, I'm likely to have a glass of Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio. Chardonnay seems more dry of the two, but both mix well with Chicken. Pinot Grigio has a bit more sweetness to it in my opinion.

If I'm having steak, I'm likely to enjoy a glass of Zinfandel or Shiraz. Zinfandel offers a nice full-bodied taste, without being overpowering. Shiraz is more medium bodied, and the flavor tends to linger a bit more on my tongue. Again, both go well with Steak. I've been known to enjoy a glass of Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon a time or two as well, but they aren't my favorites. Merlot is a bit too heavy for my liking, and Cabernet Sauvignon is a bit too mild.

The best white wine i know is a sauvignon blanc from a vineyard called 'cloudy bay' in new zealand. it's quite hard to get hold of as they don't seem to make very much.
It's so fruity i could just sniff it without drinking it!Very crisp and dry and appley.
The 2003 is just perfect now -it mellows as it ages.

Two of my favorites are Symphony by Michael David Vineyards in Lodi, CA. and Symphony by Obsession. --Both whites. The second one is easy to find, but the first one...not soo easy. depends on what you're looking for: sitting around sipping on the porch? Eating with a steak? I have strong tastes, so I prefer Syrah/Shiraz or good Merlots. But If I'm sitting around, I sip on some Pinot Noir or maybe a medium-bodied Chardonnay. Syrah/Shiraz is very strong, tons and tons of tanins, and usually somewhat toasty.
