Like it's got: 6-kilos-sugar, plenty of yeast, 6-gallons of water, and 500grams of raisins.

Why's it not fermenting, or not fast enough?. It almost totally fermented but then just wouldn't finish the last little bit.

I don't see "raisins" as a base for making wine.

Did you add a little slice of love?

Grapes! Lol I dunno Did you start the yeast in warm water before adding it to the rest of the stuff. That might be the answer your looking for but I don't know for sure. I do know that at the end, it does slow way down.

what kind of yeast are you useing and are you trying to make wine or raisin jack.If your trying to make raisin jack you need to have it around the heat to fermenting. And if your trying to make real wine you got to use grape juice

acid blend/campden tablets

How long has it been fermenting? It just may have been a fast ferment and you missed it. Sometimes this happens depending on the amount of yeast added and the fermentation temp. Also, maybe what you are witnessing is lag time. This term refers to the time elapsed between the pitching of the yeast and the beginning of active fermentation. my ****!!
