I want to go buy me a bottle of sweet tasting wine. There are so many and I have no clue about wines. What do you recommend?

Hey, I am a sweet wine person too. Definitely Late Harvest Rieslings and Vidals are awesome, but tend to be on the more expensive side. For a cheaper (but still delicious) sweet wine, go for cherry wine (not cherry flavored). For the cheapest stuff (not including sparkling, Boone's or Arbor Mist) go for the Concord or Blackberry Mogen & David...this is not a "classy" wine though. Have fun and good luck. If you ever get the chance go on a wine tour!

white or rose, I like chardonnay but it might be a bit dry for you

get a bottle of zinfandel. it's sweet, you'll like it I'm a great fan of South African Pinotage. Couldn't really say it's sweet, but it's very smooth and easy going and does a nice warm mellow feeling of drunkeness!
There are your things like Blossom Hill and other 'name' brands that do fruity wines, but it's each to their own.

Late harvest is a very sweet white wine. german reisling

merlot or white zinfindale,red you want ,is sweeter,also there are fruit flavored wines from arbor mist,never go for dark red wines like burgandy ,its too dry ,if you are looking for sweet

Oliver Winery makes 3 wines that are on the sweet side, although not extremely sweet. They are soft white, soft red & soft rose'. Also, they are not terribly pricey.

just look for sweet frut wine.i forgot the label. but it starts in letter b. Chenin Blancs are very nice. White zinfandel is sweet. If you have a specialist wine shop near you and if you can get hold of it 'Angel's Tears' is lovely - it is made in Franschoek in South Africa.

If you like a sweet wine try: Vista Verde Light, fresh, fruity, slightly sweet white in a refreshing Riesling style. Hints of apple, grapefruit and apricot. A wine made to serve at parties.Translation it taste like jolly rancher candies.
