If you're having chicken or seafood, white wine would be good. For steak or lamb, go with red wine. If you're looking for something inexpensive, go with anything from Kendall-Jackson, Yellowtail, Berenger, Sutter Home, or Charles Shaw (this can only be found at Trader Joe's).
