why do people say they will never drink again after a horrible hangover but then get drunk the next weekend?

Because when one drinks to much they feel awful and suffer the next day. However, when they have recovered and there body is healed, they feel that they are able to handle it again. However, some people will not drink certain things again after a bad hangover.

Because people are slow to learn! I would imaine that peer pressure might be a large factor in the equation aswell.
because they only remember the fun and breaking of inhabitions they had the week before. oh, what fun, lets do it again. lets trip fall down and make an as_ of ourselves and sleep w whoever, cause puking all night was hilarious for me and my freinds to see! hey this week it can be ur turn to puke!! i'll drive only half drunk! u mean that kind of drunk ? lol....???
