can I store the wine in my basement with a de humidifier?

Answers:
Basements are where you want to store your wine due to the dark, humid environment. Make sure you store wine on its side to prevent the cork from drying out and spoiling your vino.

Other Answers:
yes, I think that would be okay.

no you must keep it near the backdoor at all times yeah, just get a nice wine rack to put the wine on...u can keep it in a basement, cellar, anywhere

At 57F and 65% RH

providing your basement is cool and dry and you place your wine bottles in some sort of rack you should have no problems. You dont want to store your wine in damp conditions or in direct sunlight even bright artificle light can be harmful and ruin your wine

if you store your wine at home, make sure it's at an angle so that the cork stays wet. Wine should be stored between 60 and 70 degrees. I don't think you'd need a dehumidifier...the wine is sealed up pretty tight. Have you ever had water damage in your basement? Do you have an extra fridge that you could store the white wines in? I store mine in my basement but I've never had water problems and if you have full windows down there, you'll want to store the wine away from there because any heat generated in that area could also damage the wine.

If you've never had any of those problems, go ahead.
