day without water.my room mate does this but i couldnt go past 2 glasses.

Answers:
if its a cool day then yes they can get away with it but if its a really hot day they'll just sweat more so will need to drink plenty more water. Some people's body may need the extra water too which is why he can drink so much and you can't as your body can't handle it

Other Answers:
dont kno i've never tried it
I would say it is better to consume the water at regular intervals during the day!
I DON'T KNOW IF YOU CAN GO WITHOUT IT ALL DAY AFTER THAT BUT YOU WILL DEFINITELY BE 'GOING,' THAT'S FOR SURE. FOR AWHILE ANYWAY!
Certainly if you could drink two litres of water in the morning you would survive the day without any further water.

But it would be better to spread out your drinking during the day.

As a side issue it is a complete myth that we need to drink 8 glasses of water a day. The body's daily water loss, on average, amounts to 1-1.5 litres, so we need to replace this. However many foods such as fruit and vegatables contain water and the body can use water from such sources to go towards your daily requirements.

I can drink a litre in the AM but not 2 at a go..
You should try and drink at least 2 litres a day but 3 is better, you should also spread this intake as evenly as possible throughout the day, it is not good to drink 2 litres as quickly as that as it may put pressure on your kidneys... best to sip all day long, more so when you are drinking alcohol, ideally one glass of water to every alcoholic drink. (although we all know realistically this seldom happens when you are sloshed and all you think about is filling up your wine glass and trying to remain standing)... ;)
You could probably do it but it may harm your kidneys in the long run. Try drinking a little and often as this is what your body is designed to do and although you can adapt to doing crazy things (I used to get several days sleep in one huge block and then stay awake for well over any sane duration) it is far from ideal and chances are will have some side effect.
Be sensible and stay healthy - and HAVE FUN!
How much water should you drink each day? — a simple question with no easy answers. Studies have produced varying recommendations over the years, but in truth, your water needs depend on many factors, including your health, how active you are and where you live.
Water is your body's principal chemical component, comprising, on average, 60 percent of your weight. Every system in your body depends on water. For example, water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues.
Lack of water can lead to dehydration, a condition that occurs when you don't have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions.
The Institute of Medicine advises that men consume roughly 3.0 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day and women consume 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day.
Failing to take in more water than your body uses can lead to dehydration. Even mild dehydration — as little as a 1 percent to 2 percent loss of your body weight — can sap your energy and make you tired. Common causes of dehydration include strenuous activity, excessive sweating, vomiting and diarrhea.

Signs and symptoms of dehydration include:

Mild to excessive thirst
Fatigue
Headache
Dry mouth
Little or no urination
Muscle weakness
Dizziness
Lightheadedness

Hope that answers a few of your questions...

I'm not sure about the not drinking the rest of the day but I think your noon pee would probably kill you.
your meant to drink at least a gallon of water a day (8pints) dunno why though
Ideally, you should drink four liters a day. Two to two-an-a-half is decent, though.
No. You'll just pee it out.

The body is made up of 75% water. You lose a lot of water throughout your normal daily activities, like breathing.

This needs to be replenished throughout the day, regularly.

Drink enough water throughout the day so that your pee looks like lemonade (without the lemon pulp). 8 glasses is typical, but more if you work out.

Make water your primary drink, as opposed to soda, beer or juice.

Keep a bottle of water in the car.
Keep a bottle of water by the bed.
Keep a bottle of water near your computer.

You'll be surprised how quickly you will go through 8 glasses.
Don't bother trying to drink any certain amount - just drink when you're thirsty and don't obsess about it.

All those tales about you "have" to drink 8 glasses (2 litres) a day (or even more!) are just an old wives' tale - urban legend.
