Answers:
That sounds unlikely..there are a few possibilities here.your boyfriend is lying to you about how much he drank...the breathalizer is wrong (calibration problems with breathalizers are INCREDIBLY common...the cops almost never maintain them properly...so this is a very good defense for him to use in court), someone put something else in the beer

Other Answers:
might depend on how long b4 the test he drank it and if he had anything else... if u watch the show "mythbusters" there were cirtain liquids like scope for instance that has a small ammount of alcamahol in it... they drank it just b4 the test was taken and they had a high level
take it from an ex beer drinker that could drink.welll enough about me.No I dont think that could happen. The breathalyser can measure the BAC, mothwash and mints can help cover the smell of alcohol, but 2.4..(was he still standing still?)
no... but i think you mean a .24, but anyway still no, even if it was a strong beer in 7-9% alc. range. im 190 lbs and i drank 1 liter of vodka in 3 hours and had .34. and thats 32x what ur bf drank.
hell no first a 2.4 is impossible he would have died before he could get near that number. It was probably a .24 which is incredibly drunk. I was about 150 and had a few pitchers and shots over a couple of hours and blew a .18 and I was really drunk. If he really only had one drink then hire a lawyer because the cops messed up. If their machine isnt calibrated properly it can show a false positive and this isnt uncommon. IIve known a few people whi have beat dui's because the cops messed up.
Prolly not. I would get a lawywer to check in it. Because they can go in and check all the solvents and breathalyzer machines because if they are even a day old they will not accurately read the BAC level.

Or

He may have just drank it right before he got pulled over but if he takes a brethalyzer test once they have to do it again 30 min later for an accurate reading.
No, he had more than one beer to blow that high. I was completely wasted and I blew .18. Maybe he doesn't want to tell you. And nobody put anything in his drink, because the breathalyzer only detects alcohol, not drugs. They usually make you blow more than once to make sure their reading is accurate, but I would say he lied or the machine was messed up. However, they wouldn't have had him blow if he didn't seem intoxicated and one beer wouldn't make him appear drunk. I'm sorry, I think he lied.
