It is a Viking range. Should I use vegetable oil or crisco?

Answers:
Salt and pepper, with a dash of cayenne if you like it spicy.

Other Answers:
I am tellin' the truth, honey. I was born a Texan and you season em' by usin' em'. That's the only way. Any oil will do. It takes time.

I use 3-in 1
Its got to be kinda heavy
try peanut oil it has to get allot hotter before it smokes i use extra virgin olive oil that is always stored in a dark glass bottle. peanut oil is the best for your wok. however you might want to use whatever you're actually going to cook with. and if it is cast iron never just wash it and put it away with out seasoning it. i personally don't wash very often but only deglaze and season depending on the product cooked.
