Mike said: oh,no,you are wrong.I have found as below for this question(what kind of wine is a freisa?),it will help you,my kids.
I was given this wine as a gift, and I'm wondering if its a red or white, and what typical wine is it most like.
Answers:
What is Freisa?
You certainly don't see it like you see some other grapes, but it is an Italian grape native to Piemonte and produces light fruity wines with strawberry-raspberry qualities. You will usually find it lightly carbonated, and it is consumed fairly young, although some producers make wines you can age (for a few years, at least).
Other Answers:
I think it's a red.
its a french wine. one of the oldest we have in the history of mankind!!!
Freisa is a red grape verity cultivated mainly in Italy. There are two clones that are very different:
-Freisa Grossa is fruity and makes a nice summer wine to have at a party or lunch. This type can be slightly fizzy.
-Freisa Piccola is a more serious wine, usually fermented to dryness and is completely still. It has good body and often has raspberry fruit and violets flavors. You could age this one to ten years happily
It also has a reputation of not travelling well, and I had always been disapointed with this drink until I had some absolutely wonderful ones in Rome.
