Answers:
because vodka taste much better you can't beat vodka and lemonade

Other Answers:
Probably because Americans drink whatever that is in Budweiser instead of beer

Some of them prefer the taste. Some Russians may prefer whisky to vodka. Vodka is probably cheaper as well. scottish will drink anything thats cheap, they are so tight!

You've got it all wrong laddie.

The Scots do drink whisky (although the lassies have gained a taste for that tattie drink, vodka).

If your buying then I'll have a 25 year old cask strength Caol Ila :-)

In Scotland it's "whisky". It's the Irish who spell it "whiskey"!

Needtoknow, if you are ever in Edinburgh then look me up and I'll buy you a drink to put that myth to bed. You'll find me in the Bow Bar :-)

Born and raised in Scotland!

they are probably the biggest consumers per capita also they make the stuff i think sometimes they are sick of drinking what they are the best at,,,,,,,,,,,so vodka is a welcome treat.....

dont drink you own merchandize I'm Scottish and I drink whisky, I rarely drink vodka as it has no flavour other than the alcohol itself. I think more intelligent people are more likely to drink whisky.
